A Hiren Roy Surbahar ordered around 1988 by Ustad Ali Akbar Khan for his North-American disciple sitar player late James Pomerantz. After James´ passing it was purchased by a musician friend here in Germany. I got it around 2014 and it was my main Surbahar until i found my current Kanai Lal instrument in 2024. This is a very solid and compact instrument with incredible sustain and meend range.
