Mohan Singh & Co was a fine instrument maker from Jhalander/Punjab with close relations to the workshops of Rikhi Ram, Kartar Chand and Sher Mohamed. Read more about their history here. This sitar is supposedly from the seventies or earlier. It has a huge toomba and holds the tuning very well. I would recommend it to tall beginners. It has been completely restored on my workbench. Toon-wood, original horn bridges, 11 taraf strings, kharaj-string hook on last fret.
