Dieter Zarnitz Lute-Sitar #5 (1994)

back

Dieters lute-sitar number five was made in 1994 for his wife and is considerably smaller. Some would call it a „ladie’s sitar“. He used maple for the body, spruce for the tabli and cocobolo wood for the pegs. Decorations and bindings are synthetic. The sitar is currently set up with bridges from elforyn and six main strings only (leaving out the kharaj-string).
