Mukhtiar Ahmed Khan has been trained by his father Ishtiaque Ahmed Khan. He served at the Sangeet Kala Kendra in New-Delhi and at AIR Delhi for a long time and later worked as All India Radio Artist at Patna. Besides his family members he also trained Chuni Lal, Rajkumari Kanchan and Rajkumari Jayant and german Raag music enthusiast and collector Kurt Falkenberg. Two photos and two recordings -this Raga Multani and a Gara- is all we have of him.
